CRD IV - COREP reporting changes again

An amending Regulation (the "Implementing Technical Standard")(2015/227) has been published amending the provisions of Implementing Regulation 648/2014, which laid down standards on supervisory reporting of institutions according to the Capital Requirements Regulation (Regulation 575/2013).

Technical standards have been set out to establish specific definitions of forbearance and of non-performing exposures, and reporting templates to allow the EBA, competent authorities and the ESRB, to rely on asset quality concepts that are even more harmonised than the currently existing concepts, thus making reported data even more comparable.

Template amendments to Annexes I, III and IV and amendments to some of the instructions laid down in Annexes II, V, VII and IX are included in the document, which makes this Implementing Technical Standard relevant to those charged with COREP reporting in credit institutions and investment firms.

This Regulation entered force on 21 February 2015.
